The Balham Circle meeting on Monday August 26 was most rewarding for two reasons.  We were delighted to enrol Joseph Jakyeremeh as our latest brother and also we had a really splendid turnout of visiting brothers- eight in all from three circles.

Kevin Rourke, Provincial President from Epsom and John Lydon, Provincial Vice President from Runnymede, John Flood, President, Hal Herbonnet Vice President, Tom Finnegan and Jim Begley from Epsom Circle as well as Roderick O’Connor and Kevin Mallett from Sutton Mid-Surrey Circle. Our Circle Meeting, including the enrolment of Joseph, was followed by dinner as usual, with much convivial banter and exchanged toasts. It was really encouraging to see so many friendly faces, on what had been up until then a rather dreary August day, and at a time of year when Catenian support can wane a bit. TGB
