Balham celebrates its 100th meeting in great style!

On Monday January 15, Balham Brothers celebrated their Circle’s 100th meeting at the Kairos Centre in Roehampton in the presence of Bishop Paul Hendricks.

On October 30 Balham Circle visited the Clink at HMP Brixton. All agreed that the lunch we had there provided a most enjoyable occasion and the food could only be described as superb.

After starting out in April 2016, the Balham President’s ‘Pilgrims’ finally arrived in Canterbury on 27 May 2017, after 120 miles completed in twelve stages over the year. Initially planned by the then President, Steve Palmer, as his own objective he received strong support from Circle Brothers, with never fewer than five on a stage and often more. On August 10 the Balham annual visit to the Great British Beer Festival staged by CAMRA at Olympia proved as enjoyable as ever and Balham Brothers where jointed by beer enthusiasts from Croydon and Osterley circles.
